Background
Latin America’s largest diagnostic medicine services provider – Grupo DASA, which operates over 500 branches, wants to provide internal voice communication between all units. DASA offers more than 3,000 types of clinical analyses and diagnostic imaging. The company has grown tremendously in recent years and is now present in 12 brazilian states and in the Federal District. Its services are provided through 25 different brands, resulting from multiple mergers and acquisitions. In Sao Paulo state, DASA operates over 400 branches. Most of their technicians are constantly on-the-go and this situation obliged the company to have a flexible solution that supports mobile communications.

The solution has to be 100% cloud based, capable to integrate with Instant Messaging Services and easy to use. At the same time, it is crucial to adopt a solution that can provide significant savings when compared with the previous solution.

Project
As of March 2018, the solution is designed to be implemented in a three-month time period. Out of DASA’s 6,000 users, 5,000 will be served by OneContact PBX, while the remaining 1,000 connections will continue to be based on Skype for Business. As part of the implementation project, the system is planned to feature Instant Messaging services.

Conclusion
DASA chose European provider Collab after a rigorous selection process that analyzed all the players in the market. The project is being carried out locally by CenturyLink, Collab´s master reseller. The decision to move most of its infrastructure to OneContact PBX will deliver more efficiency and reliability while reducing costs.
